I wonder if they controlled for the men's age. Feeling stress with women is synomonous with young nerds in literature and popular culture. Alfalfa used to swallow hard with bulging eyes at Darlene wanting to sit next to him.
Once men get silver tipped and stable in life, I doubt a mere slip of a girl is going to be as stressful. Plus maybe the homones are a little more settled.
