If anyone has mastered the power of using humor to make a (sometimes ridiculous) point, it’s Stephen Colbert – and it seems that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is following in the footsteps of the late-night comedian.

Pelosi released a short video on Thursday going after the host of “The Colbert Report” and his super PAC, in which she accuses Colbert of receiving money from special interest groups — and hating kittens, among other things.

I was wondering where Stephen Colbert was going to go after South Carolina. Now we know.

LOL. That was classic. That alone should help Pelosi in her cause.
The powers that be should have known he wasn't going to just go away.

I wonder if Jon Stewart (controlling the PAC) or Colbert himself had anything to do with this ad.
After all, Colbert started this PAC to educate his audience and make a point. Using his own PAC to attack his own position seems just his style!

Colbert is back in charge of the PAC. Since he didn't get the position for President of the United States of South Carolina, he can assume control of it, once again.
Sometimes, I think this whole thing has been crafted since day one, other times, I think they are going with the flow and reacting to what is happening in the moment.
Either way, it's hysterical, and an excellent civics lesson!
